Julio Lau was born in Trujillo, Peru, in 1974. He studied Systems Engineering in the University of Lima, Peru and graduated in 1998. He also worked at the same time at this University as a web systems analyst.

He studied a short course on Advertising Graphics in the Toulouse Lautrec Institute, and then he continued to study photography in the Centro de la Fotografía (El Ojo Ajeno) in Lima, Peru. Additionally, he obtained the international Adobe certification, as Adobe Certified Professional in Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 Developer.

All this has enriched his knowledge and, therefore, in 2005 he decided to work as a freelance web graphic designer and simultaneously to continue to work in the University of Lima until January 2010.

His work as a freelance web designer has made progress since 2005, as he has worked for important companies in several lines of business, such as real estate, fashion, jewelry, costumes, photography, etc., both national and international, such as Republic of Panama, Netherlands, Argentina, United Kingdom, United States, and Germany.
